When talk therapy alone isn’t enough, body-based modalities that work below the level of the cognitive mind can be the answer.

Most of my clients have been in talk therapy for years and have realized that there is something deeper happening that can’t be healed by the "thinking" mind. They recognize that the body holds non-verbal memories that need to be healed through the body. Often these body memories are relational in nature, and they affect our quality of being, regardless of the quality of our thoughts.

In addition to PSIP, I have studied a variety of somatic, attachment, trauma and shame based modalities, all emphasizing processing wounds through the body and in relationship.

In addition to my somatic training, my therapeutic style is based on spiritual values such as: Mindfulness, Collaboration, Compassion, Curiosity, Radical Acceptance/Equanimity, and Loving-Kindness.

I teach clients how to compassionately listen to the body and confidently navigate body-based processing. Together, we discover the experiential memories that are held in the body, collaboratively find the corrective experience, and ultimately transform the way we experience the world first, in order to transform the way we think.
