Daniel (SEP) works with developmental trauma, attachment trauma, and Complex PTSD through a somatic and relational lens. Over 9 years of working with various psychedelic medicines emphasized to him the necessity of integrating the body and the therapeutic relationship to effectively resolve complex trauma.



His passion for PSIP is fueled by his own depth of healing he received within this model. During his training, he experienced a profound reparative experience around an early attachment wound he was unable to access despite previous psychedelic retreats and years of somatic therapy. This led him to fundamentally shift his private practice and understanding of trauma resolution.

Harley Conyer is a psychedelic psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, meditation trainer, leadership coach, mentor and facilitator.

He has been in private practice for 18 years and has over 10,000 hours of one-on-one client work.

He specializes in trauma-related presentations including addiction, dissociation, attachment, sexuality, depression and anxiety, spiritual emergence, and PTSD.

Harley has an integrated and client-centered approach and works with a range of modalities including psychedelic, somatic, transpersonal, shamanic, and ecotherapy.

He has his own extensive experience with psychedelic healing (in legal settings) that has helped to process and dissolve trauma, reduce reactivity, increase empathy and improve relationships.

Harley is passionate about PSIP because of the efficiency, depth and breadth of trauma resolution that it offers, as well as the attachment and relational healing aspects.  

Eric believes that working through trauma is one of the most courageous, meaningful, and beautiful things that humans do. With his training in Somatic Therapies, Attachment Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Nonviolent Communication Eric brings a wide range of skills and knowledge to his counseling work. For twelve years Eric has worked with various psychedelic medicines therapeutically and in ceremonies for his own healing. In July of 2023, Eric will begin training to become a PSIP instructor with the Psychedelic Somatic Institute.

Majia specializes in Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP). She holds masters and instructor level certification in PSIP and works as a PSI trainer, facilitator and therapist. Majia also has a master's in psychology and doctoral studies in Somatic and Archetypal Psychology. In addition, she is certified in Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT), Intensive Trauma Response Therapy (ITR), Tension and Stress Releasing Exercises (TRE), Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Somatic Experiencing (SE), PULSE Mediation, Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP), Leadership and Team Development and more.

Majia has extensive experience working at the individual, partnership and group levels. She consults and offers compassionate facilitation to therapists, leaders, partners, individuals and more. ​Jackie specializes in treating developmental trauma, using a psychodynamic, somatic and psychedelic therapy approach. She has extensive training in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), an accelerated, somatic based, psychodynamic approach, and provides clinical supervision and trainings to therapists learning this therapy modality. She has found that ISTDP and Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy, combined, provide a very comprehensive approach to treating developmental trauma, as both access and work with deeply buried trauma directly in the body.

Dr. Ampolos received her MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Health Psychology, at the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, CA. She received her BAs in Psychology and Spanish at the University of San Diego. She completed her pre-doctoral training at Wai’anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center on O’ahu. She is an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner (IFMCP), and is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She completed the post-graduate Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy certificate program at Naropa University, the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) training for MDMA-assisted therapy, and is certified in Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP). Her specialities include treating complex trauma and PTSD, personality disorders, eating disorders, nutrition and mental health, depression, anxiety, couples in crisis, and chronic health challenges, including pain and autoimmune disease management. Therapy was not my first career. I began as a student of creative writing (poetry) and literature, and taught literature and writing as a grad student. However, I found my home in clinical social work— work which taps into my understanding of the role of the creative imagination in representing emotional experience through narrative and imagery.

I’ve had more than 18 years of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples and groups. In addition to my training with the Psychedelic Somatic Institute, I bring experience and training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Dance Movement Therapy, and the Adult Attachment Interview. My work is relational, client-centered, somatically and affectively focused. I aim to “show up” as a person in my own right, since I believe psychotherapy is an activity between two people, working together.

Gwen has been a healing arts practitioner for over 20 years, currently specializing in developmental, attachment, and intergenerational trauma, from both a personal and collective perspective. She is a somatic experiencing practitioner (SEP), Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapist (PSIP), and Luminous Awareness energy healer, with additional training in somatic IFS, pklyvagal theory, dreamwork, mythosomatic qigong, anti-oppression work, and several non-dual traditions.

Gwen began her varied career designing and building Muppets for Sesame Street. She received her masters degree in philosophy, became a thought leader in adult transformative play, and has applied her insights about play to a variety of fields including design-thinking, coaching, spirituality, leadership, and healing & development. In the past five years, Gwen has dedicated herself to trauma healing as the doorway to liberating our inherently playful nature. Gwen is also the author of The Wonderful W, a children’s book for grownups about how holes become Wholes.

After a lifetime of searching and experimentation Gwen is thrilled to have found PSIP, a modality that can heal levels of developmental and attachment trauma that she’s found no other method can reach.

Dr. Fekete – a teaching assistant and instructor candidate with PSI – has extensive training and professional experience in clin. psychology, psychoanalytic/psychodynamic/Jungian/etc. psychotherapies, clin. hypnotherapy, CBT, EMDR, IFS, couples therapy, systemic family constellations, mindfulness, somatically oriented psychotherapies, etc.

She is a founding member of the American Psychedelic Practitioners Association and regularly participates in discussion regarding ethics, best practices, research, and existential topics to learn from and support others in the field of psychedelic assisted psychotherapy.

Lorina Manzanita MA, SEP is a Somatic Sex & Relationship Coach, SE Trauma Resolution Practitioner and Psychedelic Somatic (PSIP) Facilitator based in both Maui, HI and Oakland, CA. She is a JFK graduate and has been a healing arts professional since 1998. Her work focuses on the intersection of attachment healing, trauma resolution and erotic wholeness.

Troy (he/him) is a licensed psychologist and somatic psychotherapist with nearly twenty years of experience guiding people through the healing and unwinding of developmental, attachment, and intergenerational trauma. His primary modality is Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP), an approach that combines relational attunement with the body’s innate capacity to heal. Clients often describe the work as powerful and deeply liberating, reporting increased ease in their bodies, clearer boundaries, and a renewed sense of vitality and zest for life.

I am a registered nurse and licensed mental health counselor. I specialize in trauma and eating disorders.  I have worked as a first responder and have experience with first responders, adults with childhood trauma, and family conflict. I utilize medication assisted therapy solutions to support clients to achieve additional gains in therapeutic process not achieved by other therapy modalities.

I am a trauma survivor! I also hold a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara. My trainings include completion of trainings and certification of EMDR at the Maiberger Institute in Boulder, CO, REBT at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Rapid Resolution Therapy with Dr Jon Connelly. I have enhanced my knowledge and education with therapeutic methods I have experienced, and have achieved a successful degree of recovery. This also does not need to be a lengthy process. Truth be told talk therapy is not an effective method for addressing trauma, anxiety and depression.

Dr. Matt McClanahan is an osteopathic physician doubly boarded in Family Medicine & Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, w/ a masters in exercise physiology. In 2018 he founded the Center for Insight Medicine, which takes a neuroscience approach to the Dx & Tx of chronic pain, functional disorders, central sensitivity syndromes, & medically unexplained Sx. Many times, when Sx persist despite testing & Tx, it's because neuroplastic changes in the brain are amplifying, perpetuating, or causing them by a persistent threat/danger response in the brain & autonomic nervous system, often due to unresolved stress & trauma in our past & present. This is the primary target in the work of recovery through PSIP and these neural circuits can be reversed. Dr. Matt is experienced with Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Emotional Awareness & Expression Therapy (EAET), & Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), in addition to usual biomedical interpretation and pharmacotherapeutics. 

Susan Penning is a licensed clinical social worker based in Orlando, who has established herself as an accomplished mental health professional with a Ph.D. in Psychology and a Master of Social Work. With over two decades of experience in her field, Dr. Penning has worked with a diverse group of clients and is recognized for her expertise in trauma therapy. Dr. Penning's qualifications are extensive, having earned a Master of Social Science degree in Health Promotion, a Bachelor of Social Science Honors degree in Psychology , and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business. Lori Marchak, PhD, LCPC is a psychotherapist, writer, and teacher with over twenty-five years of clinical experience working with individuals and couples navigating relational and developmental trauma.
She is the Founder and Clinical Director of Trusted Journeys, where she offers therapy intensives, therapist consultation, and advanced training focused on relational and nervous system–informed practice. Lori is an ICEEFT Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist and Supervisor and a Certified Internal Family Systems Therapist, and she holds certification in Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP).
Originally trained as an experimental psychologist, Lori brings a deep respect for research together with an experiential and relational approach to healing. I'm a Licensed Physiotherapist and Psychotherapist working in private practice and as a traumatherapist at WONSA (World Of No Sexual Abuse), in Stockholm, Sweden.

My ground level education to become a Psychotherapist was in Transpersonal Psychology and I’m also a Trained AEDP-therapist. I’ve been working in the bodymind field for 25 years.

My own most significant trauma was when I was born prematurely with c-section. I had been able to some degree to contact that Trauma before PSIP, but never to fully experience it and embody that part of me before. I love this method for finally letting me bring home this precious part of me, previously hidden in dissociation.

I have worked as a psychologist, marriage and family therapist, Rolfing bodyworker, therapeutic dreamworker, author, and mentor. I have utilized psychedelics for my own therapy and with others for over 30 years.

As an integrative somatic psychotherapist, I believe that the body and mind are deeply interconnected and that our experiences are imprinted in the nervous system. I provide a safe and supportive space where we can explore these experiences through the body, feelings and relationships.

Elif is a Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Therapist. She is a highly experienced and intuitive Transformational Breath senior trainer with over 25 years’ experience of working as a HCPC registered psychologist with MA and BABCP registered psychotherapist. She is trained in EMDR and is well-versed in various therapeutic modalities including  somatic experiencing and internal family system. She is a yoga teacher and certified yoga Nidra practitioner.

As a survivor of personal trauma, Elif is a trauma informed therapist, passionate about helping others to overcome complex, developmental trauma and attachment wounding. Her work encompasses both top down and somatic bottom up approaches. Her somatic and attachment focused guidance gently supports people to feel safe enough to ease dissociation, empowering them to become more fully embodied and allowing them to access their innate healing capacity.

Amanda is a Nurse Practitioner licensed in 2020, and previously worked as an RN since 2007. She has a long history of working in obstetrics as an RN, but returned to school to specialize in mental health in 2017. Throughout the years, she has found herself more and more drawn to creating safe, nurturing spaces for adults navigating challenging experiences and providing a more collaborative and holistic care plan.

Amanda’s background in obstetrics complements and oftentimes parallels her work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) provider. Currently, she provides a therapeutic setting for medication management, as well as ketamine assisted psychotherapy. Her aim is to empower her clients in their own healing journey by providing a safe and supportive environment for collaborative care.
Amanda finds meaning in working with adults who are feeling stuck or burned out, managing grief and overwhelm, or who generally struggle with symptoms of anxiety and depression. Her passion lies in attachment and trauma, and she is specially trained in psychedelic-assisted therapy to support clients through their powerful and important work.

Gina Mitchell (she/her; MSW, LCSW) is a therapist, facilitator, and consultant based in Philadelphia, PA. She specializes in providing relational, trauma-informed care, seeking to create a therapeutic space that is collaborative, non-judgmental, and compassionate.

Gina earned her Master of Social Work from the Smith School for Social Work. She has completed trainings in Somatic Experiencing, Somatic Abolition, Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal therapy, Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. She has extensive experience working within the queer and trans community, and enjoys supporting people navigating relational trauma, attachment issues, chronic illness, and grief. 

Gina is the Dean of Counseling at the Skowhegan School for Drawing & Painting, leads trainings and offers supervision at Walnut Psychotherapy Center, and maintains a private therapy practice.

Micah Stover has a BA in philosophy with an emphasis on Buddhist studies and an MA in psychoanalysis and feminist theory. She’s trained in Internal Family Systems therapy and and has completed Level 1 PSIP certification. Micah's worked with numerous clients of all ages and demographics to support them in healing from intergenerational trauma. As a survivor of sexual abuse and an eating disorder that nearly cost Micah her life, she has an intimate understanding of the depth of strength and patience required to heal such insidious wounds. Micah resides in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with her family where she hosts monthly healing retreats for individuals. She works closely with indigenous healers to incorporate their wisdom into her work. She teaches a foundations class on safety with psychedelics and has a book coming out in the fall of 2024 exploring her personal and professional journey with psychedelic therapy.

Raj is a highly skilled and licensed psychotherapist with over a decade of experience in behavior therapy, offering personalized care to clients in Vancouver, British Columbia. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Calgary and holds a counseling license with ACCT. Raj has a diverse background that encompasses healing arts, psychotherapy, somatic therapy, and the arts, which he seamlessly integrates into his practice to assist clients in addressing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and developmental/family trauma.

In addition, Raj is deeply passionate about mind-body training and is the founder of Ultra Instinct Mindfulness through the Arts. I am a member of the Swiss Medical Society for Psycholytic Therapy (SÄPT) and serve as the national coordinator for the PsychedeliCare Initiative in Switzerland.

I follow the lost lineage of feminine consciousness, oracular arts, and mystical traditions. I come from the Świętokrzyskie Mountains of Poland, full of legends and myths —and I’m still searching for my motherhouse broomstick.

I use relationship as a container to renegotiate the misattunements, the fraught experiences of our childhoods (and those of our ancestors); a space to unwind generations of colonizing beliefs; and a playground to explore new ways of being with ourselves and each other.

I am a mother, wounded healer, devotee of the breath and a weaver of interbeing. I root deep and expand wide to support the letting down from the pressured grip of dominant culture as it presents through us. I believe that slowing into the womb of the relational is the healing - being seen, felt and held so tenderly that our tissues can unwind and rest into the larger web.

The PSIP model has been revelatory on my path of awakening to my true nature as the layers of conditioning revealed themselves through the viscera to be held and transmuted on the lap of the good enough mother.

Since I was young, I have always had a natural gift for sitting with people who were hurting. I'm someone who did years of Insight meditation retreats and yoga, and while very grateful for everything I received, I still found that something was missing. As the saying goes, "No one comes out of childhood unscathed."  We could expand this to say that no one comes out of adolescence, or adulthood, or life in general unscathed.  We all experience negative events in life, and whether they are big or small, often, they continue to affect our thoughts, feelings and behaviors, long after the event has passed.  Some experiences are readily available to us in normal consciousness, and can be worked on through various therapy models.  Others are not as available, and are more difficult to access through traditional therapy, causing feelings of frustration, as well as feeling stuck.

Claire Guerin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Mill Valley, CA. Claire’s practice focuses on grief, trauma, and Complex PTSD. Claire worked in the field of palliative care for over a decade before opening her private practice in 2018. Rachel incorporates her continued practices of Vedic meditation, studies in non-dualism and plant medicine exploration into her facilitation approach, alongside polyvagal regulation techniques taught by Dr. Stanley Rosenberg and his protege, Thor Philipsen, DO & the somatic-based practices of Dr. Peter A. Levine, offering a deeper dual spiritual + scientific component.

Rachel most recently deepened her training in Transactional Analysis at the Southeast Institute as well as Parts A, B and C of the PSI apprentice training where she is learning deeper methods to help clients with complex developmental PTSD access their homeostatic psychobiological resolution.

David Laramie, PhD is a health psychologist who strongly believes in systemic and integrative approaches to healing and wellness.
He has had extensive training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and has sought out additional learning in existential, emotional focused, mindfulness, and  somatic approaches. He is particularly interested in mind-body approaches including breathwork,  biofeedback, energy psychology, and psychedelics. He utilizes all of these practices in his own life to seek wholeness and contentment.
He has completed training in expanded states of awareness with the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute, Naropa University, the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies, and the Psychedelic Somatic Institute.

Dr. Jacquie Josephson is a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. Her work is grounded in a relational and somatic approach that emphasizes the body’s innate capacity for healing and emotional integration.

Her clinical orientation integrates depth-oriented psychotherapy, somatic awareness, and experiential approaches to working with trauma and the nervous system. Dr. Josephson has completed training in Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP) through the Psychedelic Somatic Institute and brings this framework into her understanding of how unresolved survival responses and protective patterns shape emotional and relational life.

She is certified in EMDR and trained in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy through the Sage Institute in Berkeley, California. She also completed the MAPS MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy Training Program for PTSD.

Dr. Josephson has worked in community mental health, medical settings, schools, and private practice. She is committed to creating a grounded, compassionate therapeutic space where clients can explore their inner experience and engage the deeper processes through which meaningful psychological change occurs.

Tania Choi brings to the psychedelic field an intuitive blend of Somatic Experiencing and Parts work. She uses EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy to consolidate and reinforce leadings in her integration session. She has a 14 year old trauma private practice. She speaks fluent Mandarin and works with first generation, acculturated minorites and neurodiverse clients. In her space time, she is an artist and a writer and a mother of 2 college aged kids.

Forrest James is psychotherapist, supervisor, coach, and educator. He has over 30 years’ experience in the fields of psychotherapy, clinical supervision, training, and leadership/management consulting. He taught Gestalt Psychotherapy for over 15 years, and was co-Director and Senior Training Faculty at Gestalt Therapy Brisbane and Gestalt Therapy Sydney. He co-founded The Relational Institute Australia and is a clinical member / accredited supervisor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).  Forrest has completed additional trainings in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, Dr. Daniel P. Brown’s Adult Attachment Repair model, Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy, and Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy. He has ongoing interests in the application of relational approaches in psychotherapy, somatic psychology, trauma theory, and neurobiology.

Katie Fries is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is passionate about therapies that allow individuals to have new experiences, rather than just talking about all that is going on. As such, as she trained extensively in Gestalt Therapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). Internal Family Systems (IFS), Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), among others. Her passion and experience for working with children and families to strengthen secure attachment through play based modalities such as Theraplay and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) has increased her passion for supporting adults in healing from the trauma of attachment wounding in childhood.

Dan is a provisional psychologist based on the Gold Coast, in Australia. He is currently completing his PSIP training and works as a trauma-informed psychotherapist have trained in evidence-based practices such as EMDR, Schema Therapy, ACT and more. Dan focuses on helping people uncover their often repressed, unexpressed, or suppressed emotions and how these expressions have been stored in the body.

Rachael is on a mission to spread genuine care and connection to her community and beyond. Since 2014, Rachael has been treating trauma survivors, spending the first 5 years of her career exclusively working with children in foster care and sexual assault/abuse survivors. She specializes in providing care for the following populations: adoptees and foster care alumni, religious trauma survivors, child abuse survivors, sexual abuse/assault survivors, queer folks, neurodivergent adults, and therapists in burn out. Rachael found psychedelic somatic work first as a client. Davida is an indigenous psychotherapist trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and a licensed Psilocybin facilitator. Davida received her Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience from UNCW. She received her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide and is a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in Oregon. She is a graduate of the Entheogenic Medical Training Program at the Synaptic Institute and the founder of Remedy Wellness. She is an initiate of the Academy of Oracle Arts and scholar of the sacred sciences of the ancients. Davida is passionate about understanding the totality of her clients as she draws from a holistic, integrative, somatic, relational approach. She implements a variety of interventions such as EMDR, Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ancestral healing, mindfulness, and movement.

For over 20 years, I have worked as a therapist while also dedicating myself to my own deep healing from complex trauma. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in homeless services with individuals navigating the raw edges of reality—psychosis, suicidality, complex trauma. That work taught me that no one is too much, and that every nervous system, no matter how fragmented or guarded, is wired for connection.

I see clients in person in Los Angeles for 2-hour sessions and offer 3-day intensives in Mar Vista for those seeking immersive, accelerated healing in a contained & calm setting.

Leah Gooley is a trauma therapist with a deep respect for the body’s wisdom and its innate drive toward healing. Eva is specialised in psychotherapy that heals the effect of overwhelming and traumatic life experiences, such as anxiety, depression and dissociation. 
In addition to PSIP she is certified in trauma-focused CBT, and trained in Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Experiencing (SE) & Internal Family Systems (IFS). She has over 30 years of clinical experience working with teenagers and young adults as a psychiatrist. Eva has experience of psychedelic assisted therapy in addition to PSIP with psilocybin and MDMA from her research and from assisting at retreats in the Netherlands. Eva offers on-line sessions and in-person session in Stockholm, both in English and Swedish.

Jill is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with an MSW from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, specializing in healing **unresolved trauma** from negative experiences, particularly relational and attachment wounds. 

She helps clients navigate mental health challenges like depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders, which often stem from life-altering events. Jill creates space for emotional processing, reducing suffering, and enhancing clarity about life's priorities.

Her approach is person-centered and highly relational**, emphasizing client-identified goals, deep trust, and connection. As a former clinician at Minnesota Alternatives, a leader in the Harm Reduction movement, she focused on substance use and trauma interventions.

At Expanse MN since November 2021, Jill specializes in **trauma care** using **Psychedelic Somatic Interactive Psychotherapy (PSIP). She is also trained in **EMDR, CBT and DBT. Jill completed PSIP training in October 2021 has shadowed two leader trainings, and co-led a training session in Denver in March 2023. She is passionate about "healing the healers," recognizing the critical need for clinicians to maintain their own well-being for effective, attuned, and intuitive trauma work.
