About
Suzanne
Suzanne is a somatic trauma therapist with over 25 years of experience supporting individuals in healing trauma, attachment wounds, and nervous system dysregulation. Her work integrates Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, clinical hypnosis, and art therapy. She also serves as a Somatic Experiencing educator with Somatic Experiencing International, offering introductory educational sessions.
Suzanne works with adults navigating complex PTSD, attachment injuries, and persistent patterns of overwhelm, shutdown, or relational distress. She has particular expertise in supporting individuals experiencing high-intensity activation—states where the nervous system becomes flooded with sensation, emotion, or energy that can feel overwhelming, disorganizing, or difficult to regulate.
Her approach centers on the body’s innate capacity to heal. Rather than focusing solely on cognitive insight, she helps clients gently renegotiate patterns held in the nervous system. Sessions are paced, relational, and deeply attuned, allowing change to unfold in a way that feels sustainable and integrated.
Drawing from both clinical training and cross-cultural perspectives, Suzanne supports clients in making meaning of their experiences while staying grounded in the present moment. She may incorporate somatic touch and subtle awareness when appropriate, particularly in working with PTSD and traumatic overwhelm.
Suzanne works with clients seeking greater resilience, embodiment, and clarity. Her presence is steady and engaged, creating a space where healing can emerge and transformation becomes possible through the PSIP model.
