Paul Antico

Paul Antico is a somatic practitioner and psychedelic support specialist. He has been working with individuals in somatic and psychedelic support contexts through his practice, Akasa Journeys, since 2018.

Paul holds a Certificate of Mastery Level 1 in Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP), completed in 2021. His work is grounded in Polyvagal Theory and informed by a trauma-sensitive, non-pathologizing philosophy—one that recognizes the body as the primary site of both wounding and healing.

He holds an advanced certification in Rosen Method Bodywork and Rosen Movement—a four-year training comprising six week-long intensives and 350 supervised clinical hours. Additional training includes certifications in Gabor Maté's Compassionate Inquiry and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP/RRP), a Polyvagal-informed auditory intervention.

Paul approaches sessions as a co-creation, unfolding at the pace of the nervous system, meeting people where they are, moving at the speed of trust. He is equally at home supporting clients through complex developmental and ancestral trauma and those moving through spiritual emergence or transpersonal experiences.
