In my opinion, PSIP work is best suited to those of us who have spent years talking through our patterns, building insight, learning to tune into our bodies, and now are interested in something deeper. This work can bring us into contact with body-based patterns held outside conscious awareness through protective processes like dissociation, over-functioning, and intellectualizing. It also takes a leap of faith: once something becomes visible, it can be difficult to return to the way things were. We may experience periods of destabilization while we learn what new ways will replace those old patterns. Therefore, I place a high priority on clients having strong, established resources in their corner to rely on.

I am trained in IFS, EMDR, and PSIP – and I value the clinical grounding those approaches give me – but I believe the biggest asset to this work is the connection between one another. I value warmth, honesty, quick wit, and ordinary human moments that can make difficult work feel more grounded and less clinical.
