For over 20 years, I have worked as a therapist while also dedicating myself to my own deep healing from complex trauma. This path has given me not only professional training, but a lived trust in the power of somatic and experiential therapies—knowing them not just in theory, but in my cells and bones.

I’m Grace, founder of The Rooted Institute. My work lives at the intersection of pelvic healing, trauma, and embodiment—shaped by both my professional training and my lived experience of growing up in a body with chronic pelvic pain.

Jill is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with an MSW from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, specializing in healing unresolved trauma from negative experiences, particularly relational and attachment wounds.

I offer space for your body to speak—without needing to tell the story or analyze it. My work is grounded in Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP), which can be practiced with or without legally prescribed or medically recommended substances (for example, ketamine or cannabis).

Amanda is a Nurse Practitioner licensed in 2020, and previously worked as a RN since 2007. She has a long history of working in obstetrics as an RN, but returned to school to specialize in mental health in 2017. Throughout the years she has found herself more and more drawn to creating safe, nurturing spaces for adults navigating challenging experiences, and providing a more collaborative and holistic care plan.

Dr. Jacquie Josephson is a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. Her work is grounded in a relational and somatic approach that emphasizes the body’s innate capacity for healing and emotional integration.

I bridge science and mysticism. I’m a biologist, somatic educator, psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT) facilitator, and sexological bodyworker. My work draws on altered states, bodywork, breath, sound, dance, parts work, ritual, and expressive arts. I hold a PhD in cell biology (University of Cambridge) and worked in global research institutions for over twenty years. I am a member of the Swiss Medical Society for Psycholytic Therapy (SÄPT) and serve as the national coordinator for the PsychedeliCare Initiative in Switzerland.

Philip Benjamin is a PSIP-certified, EMDR-trained therapist, USMC veteran, and experienced wilderness guide with a MA in counseling from Adams State University. Guided by the belief that true healing often unfolds along life’s most challenging and winding paths, Philip draws from his own transformative experiences with PSIP and psychedelics to offer insights into healing through altered states of consciousness.
